Your data, handled with care
Elitex Solar & Agro Innovations Limited ("Elitex", "we") processes personal data in line with the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry or place an order, we collect your name, phone number, email (optional), location and details of your water need. For installations we also record site information such as the borehole depth and the GPS location.
Why we use it
- To reply to you, prepare quotations and invoices, and book surveys and installations (performing a contract with you).
- To provide warranty and after-sales service (contract and legitimate interest).
- To keep accounting and tax records (legal obligation).
We do not sell your data and we do not use it for unrelated marketing without your consent.
Who sees it
Only Elitex staff who need it for your order, and service providers who run our systems for us (website hosting, database and email delivery). They are bound to keep the data confidential. Payment is never taken on this website.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't become orders are deleted after 24 months. Order and invoice records are kept for at least 7 years for tax purposes.
Your rights
You may ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to its use, by writing to elite.solar.agro@gmail.com or calling 0705 676 684. You can also complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner (ODPC).
Security
Our systems use encrypted connections, access controls for each department, and two-step sign-in for management.
